Saving Money On Wine For Your Wine Rack
Most people are trying to save money right now until the economy irons itself out. I am sure many of us haven’t filled our wine racks as full as we normally like to. Today I bring you some tips to help buy good, affordable bottles of wine.First, try wine from lesser-known regions. Napa Valley may be the epicenter of American wine, but you can find the same quality in neighboring valleys for a better price. This tip also extends to foreign wines. We have all heard about French wine but how about trying some Spanish or Australian wines.
Second, don’t focus on the label. Not all prestigious wineries or growing areas create great wines all the time. The opposite is true for cheaper more obscure wines. Obscurity or cheapness doesn’t always mean it is going to taste bad.
Lastly, try attending some wine festivals. There you can participate in mass tastings. You can narrow down the wines you actually like without having to purchase bottles you are unsure about.
Many more tips can be found here. Hopefully these will help you and I fill up our wine racks with some delicious, inexpensive bottles.

Don’t Torture Your Wine Rack Anymore!
Thanks to our less than rosy economy, a lot of people are cutting back on frivolous expenses. Sadly the fullness of our wine racks may be one of these frivolous expenses. For me, it is my closet that is suffering. I am trying to get as many miles out of my clothes as possible.A lot of people may toss that blouse because it is missing a button or that pair of jeans because of a hole. It is incredibly easy to save a lot of money by doing some simple repair on your clothes. These fixes cost just about nothing. Try a patch kit on those pricey jeans. If you do it right, they’ll look like new. Remember those extra buttons that came with that blouse? I keep all those extra buttons in a bag I can easily access to do repairs. If you don’t have that extra button, go to a craft store. They have a large selection buttons and you’ll probably be able to find one similar enough to sew back on. For 50 cents you can save a $30 blouse.
A little bit of thread, patience, and time can save you a lot of money.

Cutting Back So I Can Fill the Wine Rack
Since the downturn in the economy and my job loss, I have been trying to stretch my budget the best I can. I read just about every article I see online about budgeting and cutting corners. So far they haven’t been much help. The article I happened upon today is about people no longer using and selling their cars or cell phones. I know both of these items are money-drainers but I don’t think I could function as well without them. I don’t live in town so I need a car to drive the 4 or so miles in to town. I do occasionally cycle there but it’s not practical when I need to do shopping. I have tried cutting down on my trips and have streamlined routes so I don’t waste gas backtracking.
I think I could give a well-stocked wine rack easier than my cell phone. I own and am addicted to an iPhone. They should rename is iCrack. If I really had to I could give it up but I definitely would have withdrawals. It’s so convenient to have the internet constantly at my finger tips. Also losing the ability to easily contact or be contacted would be difficult.

No Debt Hanging Over My Wine Rack
Our President Obama says he is going to cut the deficit in half in ten years. I hope this is true but sometime I wonder how unrealistic statements like this are. Currently are debt is at $10,815,725,055,261. I don’t even know much that is. Nearly 11 trillion? I wonder if this include the new stimulus package. I guess it probably doesn’t really matter, it’s just another drop in the bucket at this point. In an attempt to make this number make more sense, you can divide this huge number by the population of America. Each American’s share of the debt is over $35,000. This includes babies, the homeless, and the elderly.
I’m just glad that my family and I are financially secure. My parents always spent responsibly and passed those values on to me. I hate how the responsible people have to suffer the most thanks to this economic mess. Responsible people are losing all their hard earned investments and retirement. My stocks have plummeted so far I just want to hide under my wine rack until they go back up again.
The humor in this is that you can actually donate to the public debt if you feel so inclined.

Coupons For Wine For My Wine Rack
In an attempt to save more money I have turned to coupon clipping. I have been finding most of my coupons online as well as in the local newspaper. So far I have managed to save a little bit.The biggest problem I have run into is that the online coupons are not for things I need at the moment. To remedy this, I am printing out all the coupons I think I may need in the future and store them. To keep organized I keep them in envelopes sorted into general categories. When I get ready to go to the store, I just look through to see if I have anything applicable. To get the best deal I try to buy the item with a coupon while it is on sale.
Maybe if the wine industry wanted business to pick up again they could release coupons too. I am definitely more compelled to fill my wine rack with wines on sale from the grocery store so coupons would probably convince me to buy a few more bottles.
